The Smart Annunciator can be mounted in a few different configurations.  It can be placed on a wall or flush mounted for a cleaner look.  Be sure to specify your desired look when placing an order.

Yes, you can.  However, you’ll want to ensure the proper wires are already in place before doing so.  There are certain configurations that may use different types of wires which would be incompatible for the Smart Annunciator.  One of our Regional Sales Managers or our Tech Support group would be able to assist you with this.  If it is incompatible, new wires can be run to the genset to the annunciator to ensure it is functioning properly.

No. Your data transmission on monitored generators is covered by OmniMetrix in the annual Monitoring and Managed Services fee.

The primary items we need to identify your needs are the make and model of the control panel on your generator.  If you don’t know the name of the control panel, you can simply send us a picture, and we’ll let you know.  Other than that, we’ll also need to understand the desired mounting preference to ensure a smooth installation.

No, the age of your generator will not prevent remote monitoring or use of the Smart Annunciator. However, the age of your generator may determine exactly which data points we can retrieve from your generator with monitoring and what data we can display on the annunciator.

All though it is possible to monitor multiple generators or parallel systems with a single unit, our system is ideally used with a single monitor per generator to maximize the data available to you.

We’ll be a part of the installation process for your Smart Annunciator monitor, but we don’t provide actual on-site installation technicians.  In the event the installation goes beyond the service team or requires custom solutions, our Engineering Solutions team can aid in the setup and completion of your project.
